Spartanburg and First Presbyterian grew up together. Brad Steinecke, Assistant Director of Local History at Spartanburg Public Libraries, will examine the growth of the community in which First Presbyterian has always existed.


Growing Together: FPC and Spartanburg (April 18, 2018)

Dr. Rob McCormick, Professor and Associate Dean at USC Upstate, will discuss how FPC has been an integral part of Spartanburg’s history. He will examine important events, trends and moments in the history of our church and city.

175th Celebration

Worship at 10:30 a.m. in the Sancutary
We will all worship together in one service in the newly renovated sanctuary. Dr. Craig Barnes, president of Princeton Theological Seminary, will deliver the sermon.


Lunch on the Front Lawn following the worship service
