FPC Weekly eNews - September 2, 2022

Weekly eNews

September 2, 2022

Friends, God is on the move here at the corner of Chestnut and East Main.

As evidence of that, you need look no further than the Social Hall last Sunday, which was abuzz with energy both before and after worship as hundreds gathered for our Ministry Fair. What a joy it was to see so many different folks show up to learn about all the different opportunities for putting “feet to our faith” here at FPC. A big thank you to everyone who poured so much time and energy into making that event such a success!

Looking ahead there are no signs of slowing down. Make sure to mark your calendars for Rally DaySunday, September 11 – which will mark the return of our regular worship schedule, full slate of Sunday school classes, Wednesdays at First (WAF), and much more. You can find details about all these upcoming opportunities in your eNews below.

Speaking of below… you might have already noticed that this week’s eNews looks a little different than past ones. As we continue to focus on connecting ourselves better as a church family, one of the ways we are doing that is by looking at how we communicate. To that end, our reformatted eNews is a first step in working to improve how we tell the story of what God is up to at FPC. So we hope this new layout is not only easier to navigate but that it might also serve as an invitation for each of us to discover those places where we can (re)connect with the ministry and mission of our congregation!

Blessings to you all. See you Sunday.* Invite a friend.

Peace,

Alan F. Dyer

Senior Pastor

*Please remember that we will have one combined worship service in the Sanctuary at 10:30am this Sunday, September 4.
