Next Week at FPC (September 24, 2021)
Dear First Family and Friends,
It’s fall, y’all! And I for one am glad it is---the church is busy again as we like it to be, the weather this week is cooler, and football games charge us up every weekend. We are headed toward that crisp, colorful leaf-changing season and it’s something to anticipate with joy.
I am glad to be back among you after my knee replacement surgery. I am slow right now, but I have learned that slow and steady wins this race. Thank you to everyone who prayed, sent a card, visited, brought food, or sent me (and my wonderful nurse husband Eddie) an encouraging text, call, or email. We needed your support and God’s healing touch. We got both!
This Sunday, our youth will lead us in worship at all three services and are excited to share their talents and perspectives as we all worship God together. Don’t miss it!
Scroll down and take a look at what else is happening around the church house---something might just catch your interest!
Blessings on you,
Joanne Hull
